Kawan Village Campsites is the 1st network of European dimension (in 2009, 79 quality campsites in 7 countries).
With Kawan you are free to travel as you wish in all seasons. All campsites are independant and have been selected by our team according to specific quality criteria.
Kawan means friend in Malaysian. In addition, it is the name of a sea turtle from the Caribbean. It’s commitment is to welcome you in a friendly atmosphere on campsites where the words «conviviality» and «camping» still have meaning. Like the turtle that carries its house on its back, with us you are at home wherever you travel.

Children love to camp and Kawan Kids is a universe of nature and international friends… Your children will remember their Kawan holidays for a long time to come!

The Kawan sites are often situated in exceptional, preserved natural areas. Ask in reception for information on the local footpaths and cycle routes starting from the campsite.
Kawan villages are doing their best to contribute towards the protection of the environment for example by sorting recyclable waste, by using reusable bags and containers and by equipping the site with water economy systems. On site you will find information boards which explain how you can help too.
Many of the sites now use biological cleaning products. At the Camp de Florence ask in reception for more information.
