LarressingleMedieval bastide

This 13th-century medieval village, surrounded by ramparts, boasts a keep, a church and some beautifully restored houses. Access is via a bridge and fortified gate. A siege camp has been reconstituted at the foot of the fortifications. You can see medieval attack and defense devices such as the trebuchet in action.
